Kyoto Japan

Kyoto Japan is located in the Kansai region, located near Osaka and Kobe. Kyoto is famous for many things including 1600 Buddhist temples, 400 Shinto Shrines, 17 World Heritage Sites, beautiful Japanese gardens, stunning cherry blossom in Spring and being a former capital of Japan.


 






Osaka Japan

Osaka is located in Kansai region on the main island of Honshu. Osaka is located close to former capitals of Japan, Kyoto and Nara with their many World Heritage Sites. Osaka makes a convenient location to stay when visiting these nearby cities. Osaka features some key tourist attractions including Osaka Castle, Univeral Studio Japan, and Osaka Aquarium. Osaka is famous for its food including many regional dishes and variations on dishes found elsewhere in Japan.








Nagoya Japan

Nagoya is located in the central Chuba region of Japan, with Tokyo to the north and Osaka to the south. Nagoya is the capital city of Aichi Prefecture and the third largest city in Japan. The world famous Toyota was born in nearby Toyota City and has its head office there. Thus Nagoya is very related to the car industry and has the best road infrastructure in Japan. Public transport is also well developed with JR, Kintetsu Railway, Nagoya Railway and subway. The subway is the very convenient way for the travelers to see the main attractions in Nagoya. You can buy one day subway pass for 600 yen, which covers most places you would want to go.








Mount Fuji Japan

Mt Fuji (Fuji-san) is Japan's highest mountain at 3776 meters (12,388 feet) and is the most significant mountain in Japam. The almost perfectly symmetrical cone of Mt Fuji is a famous icon of Japan which is a frequent subject of Japanese art. Among them, Katsushika Hokusai's '36 Views of Mt Fuji' and 'One Hundred Views of Mt Fuji' are the most famous ones. Mt Fuji has appeared in Japanese literature throughout the ages. The summit has been thought to be a sacred place since ancient times.
