Sliema is located on the east coast of Malta approximately 5km from
Valletta. Alternatively it is also accessible by ferry from Valletta.
Sliema is the main coastal resort on Malta and is also a very large
residential area together with a main shopping complex. A broad
promenade known as The Strand has magnificent views of Valletta across
the water.
