Corsica, France

One of the most beautiful and exotic destinations in the world, Corsica is its own private paradise hidden within the Mediterranean Sea.Anyone who longs to escape from the ordinary hassles of the world and visit this enchanting island will instantly be transported into a dreamy haze where limestone cliffs capped with citadels rise high above topaz seas with crystal sandy shores, lush landscapes transcend down from dramatic snow crested mountains, and the fragrant tropical breeze flows through charming villages.

It’s not difficult to understand why the island of Corsica has become an idealistic holiday spot, but more interestingly this is not all it has on offer. There are a variety of activities, historic landmarks, architectural antiquities, and restaurants throughout Corsica, and depending on your location there are even discos and good nightlife. Corsica has the perfect climate all year round. Since it’s an island, naturally, water sports are a favorite activity — you can go windsurfing, sailing, fishing, and swimming, or snorkeling and diving to see the plentiful exotic marine life. Canoeing or rafting is also possible in many of the rivers and water rapids, while one of the most “glorious” things you can do is to go swimming in one of those beautiful waterfalls.
