Trogir, Croatia

Situated between Split and Šibenik, Trogir is one of Mid-Dalmatia’s most beautiful cities. Founded by the Greeks in the 3rd century BC, the city enjoyed its golden-age from the 13th to the 16th centuries; its wealth was based on ship-building and trade. Trogir’s old-city evolved within the medieval city-walls, on a small island which is connected to the mainland and Ciovo Island by bridges.
