Porlamar, located in Nueva Esparta in Venezuela, is the main city on Isla de Margarita.
Home to a large number of restaurants and shops, the city serves as
the commercial centre of the island. With a population of around 210,000 inhabitants, Porlamar is home to around one third of the island’s population.
